We are young, ambitious and a little too close for our own good!
Glanmire Ices was founded by our Dad, John, many years ago. He is since retired and has always instilled in us the importance of hard work, as the saying goes – “There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs” – and we climb that stairs every day!
We didn’t see our Dad much growing up as he was the breadwinner and Mammy the textbook Irish Housewife! To this day though, they are both full of wisdom and advice for each of us in all areas of our lives. Ice Cream has been a part of our lives ever since we were babies.
Our Event Co-Ordinator / Secretary Vicki was brought home from the hospital as a baby in 1981 in an Ice Cream Van and it was only fitting that she arrived to her wedding in one in January 2015!
